Community Steering Committee

The Community Steering Committee (“Committee”) for Brea 2050 project will serve in an advisory capacity to City staff and the consultant team throughout the project process. The Committee is comprised of 16 community members from a wide range of interest, experiences/expertise, and age groups. The main purpose of the Committee is to advise and provide input and perspective to staff. While the Committee will review and comment on key elements of the General Plan and the specific document, it will not have approval authority over the documents. The Committee is expected to meet approximately six times throughout the project process. Although the Committee meetings are not open to the public, the meeting agenda, minutes and associated meeting materials will be provided as they become available.
