At their regularly scheduled April 15, 2025 meeting, the Brea City Council will receive a presentation on the draft revisions to the General Plan land use designations and land use designation map and be asked to provide feedback.

Join us for a day of fun activities at the annual Public Works and Fire Departments Open House on Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This event will take place at the City Yard and the adjacent Fire Station 1. Both are located on Berry Street, between Lambert Rd. and Central Ave.
This family-friendly event features an inside look of the Public Works and Fire Department equipment and vehicles, fire demonstrations, refreshments, and giveaways. There will be a Community Development Department booth, where informational flyers regarding the Brea 2050 effort would be available. We can’t wait to see you there!

Open House: The City will host an Open House on Thursday March 12, 2026 from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Brea Civic Center, Community Rooms A and B.
General Plan: The General Plan includes Goals, Policies, and Actions to guide growth, development, resource conservation, and policy direction for Brea for the next 20 years.
Brea Core Specific Plan: While the General Plan governs and guides growth and development for all of Brea, the Brea Core Specific Plan focuses on the Core and implements land use regulations and other recommendations specific to that area.
Draft EIR: The Draft EIR includes an analysis of the potential environmental effects of adoption and implementation of the Draft General Plan and BCSP, as required under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
